About me…

I’m a change leader, author and strategic communications professional with 20+ years of experience revitalizing operations, launching initiatives and creating content that builds global brands.

A Mandarin speaker, I have worked in 20 countries and have special expertise in Asia, especially the Greater China region.

My career began as a foreign correspondent for one of the world’s biggest news agencies. I focused on covering how China was reshaping geopolitics and the global economy – one of the most important stories of our lifetime.

For the past decade, I have worked in strategic communications in the higher education, global development, nonprofit and corporate sectors.

In 2020, I went on book leave to finish a memoir about how cycling helped make me a better storyteller and deepened my understanding of China. My manuscript has completed the final phase of editing, and the book is scheduled to be published soon by Plum Rain Press.

I currently serve as the director of corporate communications and government affairs for Orion S.A., a publicly listed global specialty chemicals company.
